Chandigarh, Aug. 2 -- Chandigarh-based social activist Dr Pandit Rao Dharennavar has filed formal complaints in Ludhiana and Chandigarh against Punjabi singer Karan Aujla's latest track 'MF Gabru', calling the song vulgar and offensive to Punjabi culture. Dr. Dharennavar, known for his efforts to promote Punjabi values and literature, alleged in his complaint that the song contains obscene language which could negatively affect children and young people. "This song goes against our cultural ethos and uses indecent words that can pollute young minds. "Such songs must be banned," he stated.
