Varanasi, Jan. 19 -- Some videos and photos related to the demolition of a temple were circulated on social media during the ongoing redevelopment work at Manikarnika Ghat.

He stated that the viral posts claimed the temple was located at Manikarnika Ghat, but the truth is that the temple is situated in Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

Agarwal said that pictures of the temple's rubble were circulated on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms. A site inspection was conducted on Monday. The temple is safe and intact.
