Srinagar, May 3 -- Police on Saturday carried out searches at five places in the city as part of the ongoing crackdown against the terrorist associates in the aftermath of Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead.

A spokesperson of the Police said they have intensified searches across multiple locations in the city, with the aim to dismantle the terror-supporting infrastructure in the district.

The searches were part of the ongoing crackdown against terrorist associates of proscribed terrorist outfits and in the furtherance of investigation into cases registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
