New Delhi, Nov. 20 -- Delhi Police has dismantled an interstate narcotics syndicate operating across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru by arresting four suspected members of African origin, an official said today.
According to the police, they confiscated over 20 kg of high-grade methamphetamine, along with 700 drug tablets, they said, the international market value of the recovered contraband is estimated to be over Rs 100 crore.
"The operation began on November 1 after specific intelligence inputs, after which a trap was laid near the Dhaula Kuan bus stand, where Ezebuenyi Esther Osita (45) was intercepted with a red trolley bag," said Aalap Patel, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell).
