Srinagar, Sept. 12 -- J&K police today attached property worth Rs 50 lakhs of a suspected drug peddler in Srinagar district. Police said the residential property was attached under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The attached property comprised a single storey residential house constructed on land measuring 5 marlas and 68 square feet and valued at approximately Rs 50 lakhs.
The property belongs to Waseem Ahmad Bafanda resident of Lachmanpora, Dandrkha, Batamaloo. Police said the action pertains to an FIR of 2025 of NDPS Act of Police Station Zadibal, in which Bafanda has been found to be involved as the accused person.
