Belagavi, Dec. 12 -- A 26-year-old man has been taken into custody by Karnataka police for allegedly raping a six year old girl.
According to sources, the man allegedly raped a 6-year-old girl who belonged to Kadoli village in Belagavi taluk on Wednesday evening.
The accused took the minor girl in the pretext of playing with her and lured the survivor to agriculture lands nearby his residence and committed the heinous act.
The girl's father noticed the act while he was searching for her daughter and informed the Kakati police immediately.
Kakati Police admitted her for treatment and medical tests at District Hospital.
Kakathi police station officials visited to the village and collected the information.
