Kolkata, June 27 -- Three suspects - a former student and two regular students of South Calcutta Law College, a state-run institution - have been arrested by Kolkata Police in connection with an alleged gang rape reported to have occurred on the college campus in Kasba. The incident allegedly took place on June 25, between 7:30 pm and 10:50 pm.
The accused were presented before the Alipore court on Thursday, where the police sought 14-day custody. The court, however, remanded them in police custody until the following Tuesday.
