Ahilyanagar, Sept. 3 -- The local crime branch team (LCB Police) arrested three men with five pistols and nine live cartridges within the Shrirampur city police station limits today.
According to police, Police inspector of the local crime branch Kiran Kumar Kabadi received information that three people were coming to Srirampur via Haregaon Phata to sell Gavthi pistols.
Accordingly, the police went to Haregaon Phata and laid a trap.
After some time, the team stopped three people who were coming on a Pulsar motorcycle.
During their search, five Gavthi (Handmade) pistols and nine live cartridges were found in their possession.
The police seized the above items and a Pulsar motorcycle worth about Rs 4 lakh 9 thousand from them.
