Srinagar, March 2 -- In its ongoing drive to eliminate drugs from society, Police have arrested four drug peddlers in the twin districts of Srinagar and Budgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
Police on Sunday said, a Police team established a checkpoint at Noorbagh Chowk and intercepted a vehicle with three persons on board.
During the search, 184 grams of Charas was recovered from their possession. They have been arrested and the vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.
The accused have been identified as Ahmad Bin Ishaq Kawa resident of Nawakadal, Daniyal Ahmad Basati of Palpora Noorbagh and Taha Yasir of Aalikadal Srinagar.
