Lucknow, Sept. 1 -- A 20-year-old girl, who attempted suicide, by consuming poisonous substance was saved and rescued due to alertness and prompt action by the Uttar Pradesh Police in CB Ganj area of Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police spokesman said here.
The spokesman said that on Sunday, the 20-year-old girl student, a resident of CB Ganj police station of Bareilly district, posted a suicide related text on Instagram, showing a packet of poisonous tablets.
