Puducherry, April 1 -- Puduherry police on Wednesday accorded permission for Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder-President and actor-turned-neta Vijay to undertake election campaign in four locations in Puducherry on April four for the April 9 Assembly polls.
Vijay was earlier scheduled to campaign on April 5, but it was advanced by a day in view of the visit of BJP National President Nitin Nabin and union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah the next day.
The TVK has sought police permission for Vijay to campaign at 23 places. However,police denied permission at 19 places and granted it in only four locations.
