Solan, May 9 -- Following a tip off, a joint team of police and the drug department today raided premises at Salasar Complex, Baddi and recovered a huge quantity of banned psychotropic medicines and intoxicating tablets.

The raid led to the seizure of 2,23,084 intoxicating tablets, including ,1,61,920 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride and 61,164 tablets of Alprazolam (Atrox-0.5) from the possession of two accused persons namely Shiv Poojan Prajapati, resident of Uttar Pradesh and Anurag Shukla, resident of Kanpur in UP.

A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at police station Baddi and further investigation was in progress.
