Warsaw, July 25 -- Poland signed an agreement with the United States on Friday to secure a four-billion-U.S.-dollar credit guarantee aimed at accelerating the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces.
Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said Poland is ready to make effective use of the funds to boost defense and security.
According to the Polish Ministry of National Defense, the credit guarantee will help finance both current and future arms procurement agreements with the United States.
