Mumbai, Aug. 2 -- A special Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act court in Mumbai, granted conditional bail to a West Bengal-based doctor accused of assisting a former 40-year-old female teacher, Bipasha Kumar, in the alleged sexual exploitation of a 17-year-old male student at Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, a lawyer said here today.
While granting the bail, Special Judge Sabina A Malik, in her order directed the accused doctor to furnish a bail bond of Rs 50,000 and not to hamper and tamper with the evidence available against her and also prohibited her from contacting the survivor.
