Mumbai, Feb. 20 -- A special Prevention Of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court on Friday granted bail to businessman Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, in connection with the Rs 6,606 crore Bitcoin 'Ponzi' scheme case. However, dertails of the bail conditions are yet to be made available.
Kundra was not arrested by the prosecuting agency but was earlier summoned by the court in January after taking cognisance of the supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in September 2025. Under legal provisions, an accused can apply for regular bail even at this stage if the court so decides depending on various factors.
