Chennai, March 27 -- The PMK faction headed by its Founder Dr S Ramadoss unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming April 23 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections with key promises including holding of caste based census, 10.5 per cent internal reservation for Vanniyars, Rs 3,000 per month for women household heads, implementation of total prohibition, quality and free education, among others.
In its 101-page poll promises, released last evening, Dr Ramadoss, whose party has allied with the AIPTMMK, a new party recently formed by ousted AIADMK leader and former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's close aide V K Sasikala for the polls, also promised significant improvements in the health sector and to set up agro-based industries in the state.
