Patna , Feb. 25 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that Patna Medical College Hospital ( PMCH) was being developed as a world-class Hospital at an accelerated pace.

Addressing the centenary celebrations of PMCH here on Tuesday, Kumar said the centre and state both were extending all possible help in this mission.

Outlining the achievements of his government in the health sector since he came to power in November 2005, Kumar said that earlier there were only 6 Government Medical College hospitals in the state which has now increased to 12. He said in addition to this 14 new medical College Hospitals were being constructed of which eight were being established with the help of the Central Government.
