Ahmedabad, June 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday visited the Air India plane crash site and talked to officials and teams supervising relief efforts. Modi also went to the hospital to meet the injured and check their condition.

The Prime Minister also met Ramesh Vishwas, the only survivor of the crash, and inquired about his health. He also checked on the well-being of other injured individuals.

Modi, who reached Ahmedabad early morning, has been closely monitoring the situation since the accident left 241 passengers dead and several injured.
