New Delhi, Oct. 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today unveil a host of youth-oriented schemes amounting to over Rs 62,000 crore, with a significant emphasis on skilling, education, and entrepreneurship.
The initiatives, which will be launched at an event here, are designed to align with the National Education Policy 2020 and target both national development and regional empowerment, particularly in Bihar.
The centrepiece of the announcement is the launch of PM-SETU (Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs), a centrally sponsored scheme with an outlay of Rs 60,000 crore.
