Thiruvananthapuram, April 18 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Vizhinjam International Seaport on May 2.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the Prime Minister will dedicate India's first semi-automated transshipment port to the nation on the day.
With 265 ships and 5.48 lakh TEUs handled since its commercial launch, the port marks Kerala's rise on the global maritime trade map.
