Thiruvananthapuram, June 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the centenary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi's meeting with social reformer and saint Sree Narayana Guru in New Delhi in the last week of this month.
The event will be organised by the Sivagiri Mutt in association with various organisations including the Delhi unit of Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Sangham (SNDP), All India Malayali Association, NSS Delhi Union, Malayali Association in Delhi, KPMS Delhi Unit and Vishwakarma Samajam.
Mahatma Gandhi visited the Sivagiri Ashram on March 12, 1925. The year-long programme will be organised to celebrate the meeting between Mahatma Gandhi and Sree Narayana Guru.
