New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 184 newly constructed, environment and disabled friendly multi-storey flats for Members of Parliament at Baba Kharak Singh Marg here on Monday.
The project, designed to ease the shortage of official accommodation for MPs, reflects a shift towards vertical housing to optimise scarce land in the national capital. Each unit is equipped with modern amenities while adhering to green building standards.
Each Type VII offers approximately 5,000 sqft of carpet area, catering to both the residential and official needs of elected representatives, the Prime Minister's office said in a statement.
