New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday termed Maha Kumbh as "Maha Yagya" of unity saying, "This unforgettable scene of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat became a grand festival of self-confidence".

Prime Minister Modi's remarks came after the world's largest spiritual gathering Maha Kumbh 2025 concluded on February 26, with the final holy dip on Mahashivratri.

Over the past 45 days, more than 650 million pilgrims have taken a holy dip in the sacred waters of Prayagraj.

In a series of tweets, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "The way the faith of 140 crore countrymen came together for 45 days at the Maha Kumbh of unity in Prayagraj, at one time, and joined this one festival, is overwhelming".
