Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 25 -- Kerala General Education Minister V. Sivankutty today said that all issues related to the PM SHRI project would soon be resolved.

The Minister was speaking after meeting CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam at the M.N. Smarakam, the State headquarters of the CPI here, in a bid to ease tensions within the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF).

The meeting came amid a sharp rift between the CPI and the CPI(M) over the Education Department's decision to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the PM SHRI scheme without consulting coalition partners.

"All problems will be settled," Sivankutty said, refusing to divulge details of the discussion.
