Kolkata, May 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he is looking forward to being among the sisters and brothers of Sikkim to participate in a programme to mark the 'Statehood Day' of the eastern Himalayan state on Thursday morning hours ( May 29) as the country is very proud of the contribution of Sikkim towards national progress.
He also said "the unique culture of Sikkim is also widely admired," Modi said on his X handle.
