Motihari, Aug. 28 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, today alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains silent despite repeated accusations of vote theft because he is "guilty."Speaking at the Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan here in Bihar, the Senior Congress leader asserted that he does not make baseless allegations.

"If I accuse you of stealing something, would you stay silent? But the Prime Minister is silent. That's only because he is guilty," he claimed.

Citing the Mahadevapura Assembly seat in Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said that vote rigging occurred not only in the Bangalore Central constituency during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but in 70-80 constituencies across the country.
