Varanasi, April 29 -- On the second day of his Kashi visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show from Bareka on Wednesday morning in his parliamentary constituency, greeting the people of Kashi and BJP workers and reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
At the Dham, Brahmins, Batuks and monks gave the Prime Minister a grand welcome with the sound of drums and the blowing of conch shells.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Jalabhishek of Shri Kashi Vishwanath and bathed him with Panchamrit. Amid chanting of Vedic mantras, the Prime Minister adorned Baba Vishwanath and performed Aarti and RudrakshaAbhishek. PM was present in the Kashi Vishwanath temple for around 20 minutes.
