New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid homage to RSS ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on his death anniversary and used the occasion to donate Rs 1000 to the party fund underlining the point that the Late leader always laid emphasis on 'honesty' in public life.
"Remembering Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Ji on his Punya Tithi. His emphasis on 'Integral Humanism' inspires millions of people. He was known as an exceptional organiser who mentored several patriotic and hardworking Karyakartas," the Prime Minister tweeted.
"His was a life devoted to nation building," Mr Modi further wrote.
Born on September 25, 1916, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya breathed his last on February 11, 1968.
