New Delhi, April 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called upon the people of Assam and Kerala to vote in large numbers as polling for the Assembly elections began in the two states.
The Prime Minister also appealed to the electors in the union Territory of Puducherry to come out and participate in record numbers in the Assembly polls that began this morning.
Taking to his X handle, Modi made a series of tweets and specially referred to the youth and the women of these regions to step forward and strengthen the process of democracy.
