Chennai, Nov. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Tamil Nadu on November 19, to inaugurate a three-day National Conference on Organic Farming in Coimbatore.
Though the visit is in connection with the conference on organic farming, which has received the focus of the union Government, it assumes significance in view of the election to the state assembly early next year.
Over 5000 farmers from all over South India, engaged in organic farming, as well as 50 scientists are expected to participate in the event being held at the sprawling CODISSIA complex in the textile city.
