New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a visit to Japan (Aug 29-30) for the annual summit meeting with Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba, and then visit China (Aug 31-Sep 1) to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin.

At the invitation of Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba, PM Modi will visit Japan to participate in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit. This will be Prime Minister Modi's eighth visit to Japan, and the first Summit with Prime Minister Ishiba, a statement said.

During the visit, the two Prime Ministers will review the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan, including defense and security, trade and economy, technology and innovation, and people to people exchanges, ...
