PM Modi to unveil Rs 11,000 crore expressway projects to decongest Delhi tomorrow
New Delhi, Aug. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two significant national highway infrastructure projects in the National Capital Region tomorrow. The projects, the Delhi section of the Dwarka expressway and a key stretch of the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) have been developed at a cumulative cost of about Rs 11,000 crore.
The 10.1 km Delhi section of the Dwarka expressway, constructed at a cost of Rs 5,360 crore, is a vital part of the centre's broader strategy to decongest Delhi and enhance multi-modal urban mobility.
