Guwahati, Dec. 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to take part in an interactive session with students of Class IX and X on a ship on the mighty Brahmaputra river on December 21.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this on his social media handle and added that the proposed 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' programme on the mighty Brahmaputra river is expected to immensely boost Assam's river tourism potential across the world.
"Last year, the Prime Minister stayed one night in Kaziranga National Park, and after that, we received the highest tourist footfall in Kaziranga.
