Patna, Aug. 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Bihar today on a day-long visit to launch projects worth Rs 12,992 crore in the state.

The Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Gayaji and is scheduled to launch Rs 12,992 crore worth projects. This is his second visit to Bihar within a month, the last was to Motihari on July 18.

Among the key projects, the PM will inaugurate the Aunta-Simaria bridge project on NH-31, including a 1.86-km six-lane bridge on the Ganga built at a cost of over Rs 1,870 crore.

The bridge will provide seamless connectivity between Mokama in Patna and Begusarai, while reducing the travel distance for heavy vehicles by over 100 km, easing traffic congestion, and supporting economic activity...
