Bhubaneswar, May 26 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the "Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan" from the holy town of Puri on May 29 via virtual mode, to promote innovation in agriculture and take key Central Government initiatives to the grassroots level.
According to official sources, the campaign will be inaugurated in the presence of Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, as well as Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Minister Gokulananda Mallick.
The nationwide campaign will be conducted from May 29 to June 12.
