Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth over Rs. 60,000 crore in Jharsuguda tomorrow.

These initiatives span sectors including telecommunications, railways, higher education, healthcare, skill development, and rural housing.

In the telecom sector, the Prime Minister will commission more than 97,500 4G mobile towers built at a cost of around Rs. 37,000 crore using indigenous technology. Of these, over 92,600 sites have been commissioned by BSNL.

Additionally, more than 18,900 4G sites funded under the Digital Bharat Nidhi will connect approximately 26,700 previously unconnected villages in remote, border, and left-wing extremism-affected areas, ...
