New Delhi, Nov. 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya's Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir on Tuesday for a landmark ceremony that the government says marks a defining moment in India's socio-cultural and spiritual landscape.

At the heart of the visit will be the hoisting of a saffron flag on the temple's Shikhar, timed to coincide with the auspicious Vivah Panchami of Ram and Sita and the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
