Jeddah/New Delhi, April 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Jeddah for bilateral talks with the Saudi leadership, will be departing for India tonight in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 28 tourists are reported to have been killed.

The PM, who was supposed to leave only tomorrow evening, will skip the official dinner being hosted by the Saudi leadership, and leave after the talks have concluded.

He will be departing tonight, sources said.

The PM arrived in Jeddah earlier in the day on a two-day visit.

Earlier, the PM had strongly condemned the terror attack and said the resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger.
