New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Maharashtra from tomorrow, during which he will inaugurate a series of major infrastructure projects aimed at boosting urban connectivity and transportation efficiency in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate Phase 1 of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), a key greenfield aviation project developed under a public-private partnership model at an estimated cost of Rs 19,650 crore, said a statement from the Prime Minister Office here today.
