Darrang (Assam), Sept. 14 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused the Congress of historical land encroachments and backing anti-national forces, while affirming the BJP-led government's commitment to national security, development, and cultural preservation in the state.
During his address at a public rally in Assam's Darrang district after inaugurating a string of projects, the Prime Minister alleged that under past Congress administrations, encroachments were carried out on farmers' land and religious sites. He said the BJP-led government had since launched efforts to rectify these "wrongs" and reclaim land.
