New Delhi, July 29 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today strongly defended Operation Sindoor and slammed the Congress for failing to support India's armed forces.

Making a statement in Lok Sabha during the debate on Operation Sindoor the Prime Minister said that while the international community backed India's actions, the Congress did not extend the same support at home.

"India's bravery received global support, but sadly, not from the Congress," Modi said.
