Bengaluru, May 6 -- Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) patriarch HD Deve Gowda on Tuesday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's response to the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, terming the government's counter-measures as "bold" and unprecedented.
Reacting to the incident that claimed the lives of several tourists, Gowda said, "For the first time, such bold decisions have been taken by any government to give a fitting reply to the enemies of the nation." He was speaking to reporters in Bengaluru.
