Amman/New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed by Jordanian Prime Minister Jaffar Hassan at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman as he arrived on a two-day working visit to Jordan.
PM Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the airport, with a guard of honor as a band played the national anthems of the two countries.
The Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Ya'rub Qudah, and Amman Governor Yasser Adwan were also present to welcome the Indian leader.
The Jordanian PM said in a post on X that he was deeply honoured to welcome PM Modi to his country, and that they look forward to broaden the horizon of their bilateral cooperation.
