Chennai, July 26 -- Rebutting the allegations of the ruling DMK that Tamil Nadu is being discriminated in central funding, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rebuked charges saying that the state had received a development offensive under his government.

He said the state received Rs.3 lakh crore during the last decade of NDA rule which was triple the allocation under the Congress-led UPA government

"In the last ten years, Tamil Nadu has received projects worth Rs.3 lakh crore, three times higher than what has been allocated under the UPA government. The state has got 11 new medical colleges in the last 11 years."
