Jharsuguda (Odisha), Sept. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reaffirmed the government's commitment to achieving self-reliance in every domain-"from chips to ships."Addressing a gathering at Amlipali, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 50,000 crore, the Prime Minister said, "India has taken a significant step towards self-reliance."He recalled that during the global rollout of 2G, 3G and 4G, India lagged behind and remained dependent on foreign technologies.
