Jharsuguda (Odisha), Sept. 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reaffirmed the government's commitment to achieving self-reliance in every domain-"from chips to ships."Addressing a gathering at Amlipali, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 50,000 crore, the Prime Minister said, "India has taken a significant step towards self-reliance."He recalled that during the global rollout of 2G, 3G and 4G, India lagged behind and remained dependent on foreign technologies. Stressing that such dependence was unacceptable, he said the country resolved to develop critical telecom technologies indigenously.
