Agartala, Sept. 22 -- Marking the beginning of the festival of Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today offered puja at the 524-year-old Tripura Sundari temple complex - one of the 51 Shakti Peeths - after inaugurating its redeveloped facilities in Udaipur of Tripura's Gomati district.
During his brief trip to the temple, Modi visited the newly built campus around the religious site and also went round an exhibition depicting the history of Tripura and the temple, along with Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
The Prime Minister arrived here in an Indian Air Force special aircraft and was received by Agartala Mayor and MLA Dipak Mujumdar, Chief Secretary J K Sinha, and DGP Anurag at MBB airport. Thereafter...
