Ampati, Nov. 16 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday digitally laid the foundation stone for construction of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Chopapara village in Meghalaya.
The EMRS at Chopapara village under Zikzak Community and Rural Development Block in South West Garo Hills district, is one of the 50 new EMRS worth over Rs.2,320 crore to be constructed.
The Prime Minister also virtually inaugurated 42 Eklavya Model Residential Schools worth Rs.1,900 crore.
