New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the prestigious Leadership Summit 2025 hosted by a national daily, where he unveiled a major government initiative to return over Rs 1,04,000 crore (approximately USD 12.5 billion) in unclaimed assets to their rightful owners.
The funds primarily belong to poor and middle-class families.
The Prime Minister positioned this ambitious drive as a cornerstone of the government's commitment to strengthening public trust.
