Imphal, Sept. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid heartfelt tribute to the courage and patriotism of Manipur's sons and daughters serving in the Indian Armed Forces and emphasised the vital role played by Manipur's soldiers during Operation Sindoor.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating multiple development projects worth over Rs 1,200 crore at Imphal in Manipur, Modi acknowledged their significant contribution across the country and highlighted their vital role in safeguarding the nation.
Referring to Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister said that the world witnessed the formidable strength of the Indian Armed Forces. He noted that Indian soldiers dealt such decisive blows that the Pakistani army was left overwhelmed.
