Ayodhya, Nov. 25 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya on Tuesday morning to participate in the Dhwajarohan Utsav and hoist the Dharma Dhwaj (religious flag) atop the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir.
The Prime Minister was accorded a grand welcome at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport upon his arrival from Delhi.
He later proceeded to Saket College by helicopter, where Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received him. From Saket College, PM Modi will conduct a 1.5 km roadshow to the Ram Janmbhoomi Temple complex.
The 1.5 km roadshow will pass along the 1 km-long ceremonial Rampath, which has been divided into eight zones.
